I’m losing the love handles and looking leaner. At least that’s the way I see it in the photos and in the mirror.

This last day or so I feel that I’m starting to see a difference, in that I’m starting to lose fat in the areas I most want to lose fat: Love handles and stomach.

Although I’m actually aiming for the six pack, because its a fairly obvious thing to aim for, I’m probably happier to be losing the love handles. Hate them!

When I look at the picture of me at 205lbs it’s horrible. It’s like a curtain of fat. It looks horrible in the flesh and it looks horrible under a shirt.

I’m not sure I’ll ever get rid of them totally, because I suspect you need very low body-fat levels to achieve that and to be honest I’m not sure I’ll want to maintain the sort of discipline it takes to be that lean all the time.

Instead I’d like to be close enough to that kind of body-fat percentage, that with a bit of a concerted effort, I can get there fairly quickly if I feel the occasion warrants it.

For now I’m just happy to see the love handles melting away.

Today has been a good day. I ate one meal and haven’t deviated from the plan.
