One Meal a Day to Six-Pack Abs 034: Regaining some enthusiasm and adopting a better frame of mind

challenge yourself and get flat absThis is Day 34 of my challenge to get a six pack.

I’m starting to find my enthusiasm again and as a result put in a much better day with my eating plan.

There were a few slight wobbles caused by the appearance of a jar of peanut butter in the house.

How did is appear? I bought it, and I wish I hadn’t. I hated peanut butter as a kid but now I could eat half a jar of it spread across a crust of thick white bread.

I didn’t do that but I really could do without the temptation.

Whilst I was out buying weight gain in a jar, I also bought some Kellogg’s All Bran. I feel I’ve been lacking fibre in my diet recently and thought this might help. I’m not convinced it will and I wasn’t impressed at how much sugar is in it these days.

I tasted it and it is much sweeter than I remember. I used to laugh at my dad eating this stuff when he hit middle age – and now my kids get to laugh at me!

I’ll see how this works out for me but I’ll look at other options. BTW, feel free to suggest something but keep in mind I’m in the UK.

Without a doubt I’m feeling much more excited and enthusiastic about this part of my journey today. I’ve started to regain some of the drive I had at the start and it’s working a treat because I’m in a much better frame of mind. Henry Ford was right.
