This is Day 41 of my journey to flat abs.
I know that a lot of guys set goals to get a six pack by the summer.
It’s the prospect of going shirtless on the beach or by the pool that’s so appealing.
It’s the middle of March now, so if you want to get ripped by June or July, you need to get a move on!
Right now though, I’m looking at the bloat associated with the more relaxed eating over the weekend but I have managed to have a great day with the eating plan, so I don’t feel too bad.
I am really looking forward to the coming week because judging by recent progress and today’s performance I believe I’ll see some good results.
Recently I put a time limit on this process. I picked March 27th as my target date, which gives me two full weeks to lose the rest of the weight.
I still have my doubts as to whether I can make it to a fully flat stomach by the deadline (only 14 days!), but I’m excited to think that I’ll be closer to having abs than I’ve been for 20 years.
One thing is for sure, I will definitely have abs by the summer! (Actually there are no guarantees. I’m aware that some men of my age group find it almost impossible to lose the last pockets of fat, but it pays to be positive and optimistic!)
It’s nice to think about the future but I mustn’t dwell there too long. I’d better get through this week first.
With that in mind, I’m fascinated to know whether the measurements I took last Tuesday have improved and can’t wait for tomorrow to find out.
And if you are trying to get a six pack in time for the summer, you really must start now. Even if you have around 20 lbs to lose, you can still make it!
