This is Day 10 of my attempt to get a flat stomach by the end of June. I’m doing it eating one meal a day and I’ve set myself a challenge to do 10,000 push ups and run a marathon– 1.5 miles at a time, all by the end of the month.
I’ve got 20 days left to achieve my goals.
June 10th 2012
Weight: 173.4 lbs (Down .2)
Chest: 39.25 (Up .25)
Belly: 34.5 (No change)
Waist: 34.25 (No change)
Hips: 37 (No change)
All the indications are that I’m losing fat. The bad photos I take on my phone camera are not too flattering but in the mirror I can really see that I’m starting to lose the last of the fat from my midsection.
My weight is down again today and my chest measurements continue to increase.
Setting myself the challenge to do 10000 push ups this month seemd like a daunting proposition at the start of the month, but after 10 days I’m starting to realise that it’s possible.
I set myself a goal of 350 push ups today and in the end I managed to do 360. I’m an definitely glad to have dialled back the number I’m doing each day, it gets tough if I have to do more than 400 a day.
I went out running last thing as usual. It was raining heavily but I went anyway. My wife thought I was mad!
Half way around I decided to extend the run and went 2 miles instead of 1.5. I figured I was out there, so I might as well do it.
This means that I need to do only 8 1.5 miles runs to complete my “Marathon in a Month”.
My eating was very strict today. I definitely came in with a calorie deficit.
